Photo Arrangement with Wall Words

I love the look of the 'wall words' that are the vinyl letters you can place directly onto your wall and remove just as easy. Pairing these with a photo arrangement like the seen in the picture creates a very unique display. I really like how all of this is put together. I am constantly looking at the quotes and words you can buy at the craft stores but have yet to buy any. I really need to try this.

White photo frame display

Here is a photo that must have been published in the Dec 6th issue of Domino Magazine. Different size frames and mattes are being used but it appears most of the frames are white. This is a wonderful way to display your photos using different frames but keeping the colors the same. It gives the look that it all goes together.

Long Wall Shelves

I love displaying my photographs on the long wall shelves that you can buy in groups at stores like Target. I had my dad build some shelves for me when I first moved into our new house. Here is a photo I found that gives an idea of just how long you can make these shelves to display your favorite pictures, and LOTS of them! This idea came for the Better Homes and Gardens website. I will have to take a picture of the ones that I have hanging on my wall to give another idea of how this can be done.

15-Inch Digital Frame from Amazon.com

I love digital frames, especially the larger ones that I have seen come out in the last year or so. I found this one from Amazon.com as I'm beginning to do my Christmas shopping and seen that the reviews are very good and as far as digital frames go (especially one that is this size), it is decently priced. I have already added this to my wishlist!

Another Photo Display Wall Hanging

I found this beautiful arrangement at the Inspired Room. The frames that are shown were under $8 and it appears that the pictures were printed in black and white and maybe 2 were in sepia tons.

Family Memento Idea

An idea I came across from Idealhome based in the UK was that of taking handprints from each family member using colors that might suit your decor and then frame all of these together. This would be a perfect idea to decorate a collage frame that you can buy at just about any store.

Old Window Picture Frame

I think everyone has seen this one - using an old window and placing your photographs on the glass. I love this idea but have yet to get my hands on a vintage window. I would love to have one and place some beautiful scrapbook paper on the glass and place my photos onto that. You can distress the wood or even crackle it with the special paint bought at craft stores. I really just love the whole idea of this!

Pipe Art

Here is an industrial look that might look nice in a teenagers room or a more modern decor. I found this on the HGTV website and it consists of hanging frames from threaded plumbing pipes which are cut to size. I really like this and am thinking of doing this in my 11yr old's room. For complete instructions visit the site: Pipe Art.

Scrabble Board Game as Picture Art

Here is an example of using an old Scrabble board game as a way to display photos. An x-acto knife was used to cut out squares from the board (remember to cut out square at least 1/4 in smaller than photo to placed) and photos are then taped to the back of the board with picture peaking through the window. Tacks or double-sided tape can be placed on the letter tiles and then placed on the game board to spell out whatever words you would like.

Photo Collages!

I first started doing photo collages about 11 years ago. I found that it was a wonderful way to display many of my favorite pictures into one photo and still have lots of wall space for other things. I have since done collages for other people including my family and those who order from my website: www.CollagesByTracey.com If you have time check it out!
